Step 1: Configure Your Settings

The power of Autopost lies in its customization. Before generating any content, it’s crucial to define your Author Personas by navigating to the Settings page. A persona is the heart of your content’s identity, telling the AI how to write. A well-defined persona ensures that every article is consistently on-brand and resonates with your target audience. You can configure:

• Voice: Define the personality of your writer. Should it be formal, witty, academic, or conversational?
• Tone: Set the emotional color of the content. Is it informative, persuasive, cautionary, or entertaining?
• Target Audience: Specify who you’re writing for—experts, beginners, or the general public. This influences vocabulary and complexity.
• Formatting Rules: Dictate your preferences for lists, headings, paragraph length, and more to maintain a consistent structure.

Investing time in creating detailed personas is the single most important step to producing high-quality, automated content that feels authentic and achieves your goals.

Step 2: Generate Your First Article

Once your personas are configured, head over to the Generate Content page. This is where your preparation pays off. To start, you’ll provide two key pieces of information:

• Primary Topic: The main subject of your article. This should be a clear, concise phrase (e.g., “The future of renewable energy”).
• Context/Angle: This is where you guide the AI. Provide a specific focus, instructions, or a unique angle for the article. The more detail you provide here, the better the output will be (e.g., “Focus on recent breakthroughs in battery technology and their impact on the EV market, maintaining a skeptical but curious tone”).

Finally, you’ll select the Author Persona you want the AI to adopt. This ensures the generated article perfectly matches your desired voice, tone, and style.
